I have used KIRBY LESTER counting machines in the practice of Pharmacy starting with my first KL-7 in my Pharmacy in 1972, Then, for 11 years in a mail-order setting, keeping KL-8s, KL-8plus, KL-X and KL-15s, operational, fixing broken ones, and replacing parts and circuit boards as needed, I used Kirby machines every day at work, Until 2009, when I retired. . . These last years, until the present, I have done only Kirby Repairs in my shop.
