Soy is full of polyunsaturated fats, proteins and omega 3 fatty acids. 100 grams of uncooked soya chunks have 345 calories with 52 grams of protein, 0.5 grams total fat, 33 grams carbohydrates and 13 grams dietary fiber. They are also rich in calcium and iron while providing no extra sugar or sodium to the body

How to prepare
Soya in salted hot water for 5 minutes and strain away the excess water.
Wash with cold water and squeeze soya thoroughly.
Add flavour mix (flavour mix sachet included in soya packet) and let it maintain 3 minutes.
Heat oil (10ml) and temper ground ginger and garlic, rampe , curry leaves, onions and green chilies.
Add marinated soya and temper for 3 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water (200ml) and add tamarind or tomatoes and simmer for 3 minutes.
